Margarita Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz. silver tequila

  • 1.5 oz. reposado tequila

  • 1.0 oz. Cointreau (or Grand Marnier)

  • 0.75 oz. fresh lime juice

  • 0.5 oz. fresh lemon juice

  • 0.75 oz. agave syrup (for sweeter option only use 1.0 oz.)

  • 3 dashes Baldies Orange Bitters

  • Margarita salt for rim with 0.25 tsp of lime or lemon juice

  • Lime wheel

  • 2-3 mint leaves

Directions:

  • Place both tequilas, Cointreau, lime juice, lemon juice, agave syrup, and 3 dashes of Baldies Orange Bitters into a shaker.

  • Add ice to the shaker and shake until very cold.

  • To salt rim pour 0.25 tsp of lime or lemon juice into a shot glass.

  • Dip your forefinger and thumb into the juice and rub them along the rim of the margarita glass.

  • Dip the rim of the glass into the margarita salt and apply as much salt as desired.

  • Add a few ice cubes to the margarita glass and pour the cocktail into the glass using a hawthorne strainer.

  • Add lime wheel and mint leaves for garnish.

  • Enjoy!
